HDNET MOVIES CLOSES OUT THE SUMMER WITH THE FOUR-FILM “SO LONG SUMMER” BLOCK, ‘FEATURING WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER,’ ‘FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH’ & MORE, ON SEPTEMBER 22 AT 8PE

Los Angeles – September 12, 2016 – HDNET MOVIES sends the summer season out on a high note, with an evening of laughs that puts the spotlight on four beloved comedies in the “So Long Summer” Marathon, airing Thursday, September 22, starting at 8pE.

The sizzling summer night kicks off with Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, and Elizabeth Banks as counselors dealing with the trials and tribulations of the last day of summer camp in the 2001 cult classic WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER. Then, Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman try to cover up their boss’ murder, while evading a hitman, in WEEKEND AT BERNIE’S, at 9:40pE; followed by the 1982 quintessential teen comedy FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH, starring Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Forest Whitaker, at 11:25pE. The night comes to a close at 1aE, as college misfits Robert Carradine and Anthony Edwards form a fraternity of geeks to take down the jocks and rule the school, in the 1984 classic REVENGE OF THE NERDS, with John Goodman and Timothy Busfield.
