Los Angeles – May 30, 2017 – HDNET MOVIES unveils a star-studded June lineup, packed with groundbreaking favorites, powerful dramas, and more, headlined by a night of modern Western adventures in the YOUNG GUNS Double Barrel on June 4, and a roster of WWII epics in the Honoring D-Day tribute event on June 6.

HDNET MOVIES rounds up a pair of cowboy classics in the YOUNG GUNS Double Barrel block on Sunday, June 4, at 9:40pE. The night kicks off with Emilio Estevez as iconic gunslinger Billy The Kid who, with his posse (Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Charlie Sheen, Dermot Mulroney), sets out to avenge the murder of his mentor (Terence Stamp) by a villainous rancher (Jack Palance) in the 1988 hit YOUNG GUNS. Then, the boys (Estevez, Sutherland, and Phillips) go on the lam when a cattle baron (James Coburn) hires Pat Garrett (William Petersen) to take Billy down in YOUNG GUNS II, with Christian Slater and Viggo Mortensen, at 11:30pE.

Honoring the 73rd Anniversary of one of the most pivotal moments in American history, D-Day, HDNET MOVIES puts the spotlight on four celebrated WWII epics on Tuesday, June 6. The day begins at 11:10aE, with a look at the Ardennes Counteroffensive from the American and German perspectives in BATTLE OF THE BULGE, with Henry Fonda, Robert Shaw, and Charles Bronson. Next, POW Frank Sinatra leads a daring escape in the premiere of VON RYAN’S EXPRESS at 2pE; followed by James Mason as a legendary German general who tried to assassinate Hitler in the premiere of THE DESERT FOX: THE STORY OF ROMMEL at 4:05pE. And brothers Daniel Craig and Liev Schreiberfight to protect Jewish civilians from Nazi troops in DEFIANCE, at 5:40pE.
