Los Angeles – January 31, 2018 – Make a Valentines’ Day date with HDNET MOVIES, as the network presents a pair of Academy Award®-winning love stories on Wednesday, February 14, starting at 8pE. The event kicks off this Thursday, Feb. 1, and will continue through Sunday, March 4, the evening of the 90TH Annual Academy Awards®.

The night begins at 8pE with the 1968 adaptation of Shakespeare’s signature tragedy ROMEO & JULIET, starring Olivia Hussey in her first big screen lead role as the star-crossed Capulet, with newcomer Leonard Whiting as her ill-fated beau. The film was inspired by the Truman Capote novella of the same name, and took home Oscars® for Best Score and Best Original Song for “Moon River.” Mickey RooneyBuddy Ebsen, and Martin Balsam also star.
